Almost everyone worries about how to pay for college and hopes that there will be financial aid available to help cover the costs. There are many sources of financial aid. You may be able to obtain aid from the federal or state governments, from your college or from private sources. If you have been in the military, or are the spouse or child of a veteran, there may be additional scholarship help for you.

College Aid

Some types of financial aid from your school will be awarded automatically. This could include aid based on need, or scholarships for academic excellence or other achievements. Other scholarships or aid must be applied for seperately. Be sure to check your school's website for special scholarships and talk with the admissions or financial aid departments.
